Using our interpreters clients can interact on a more
personal and detailed level with their foreign counterparts. We have
helped firms in their business negotiations, accommodate visitors and collaborate in the development of new and more competitive
products.
Non-commercial organisations have benefited through
taking part in or hosting their own conferences, as well as accommodate visitors
from abroad. Private
individuals have for example received better health care and
representation in court with our help.
TransAction can provide interpreters for any type
of event that you are hosting or attending. In order to be fully prepared, we need as much
time and background information as possible so that our colleagues can be
briefed before the assignment.
In our hints
& tips section there is further information on translation,
interpreting and other useful advice.
Consecutive interpreting
When a speaker pauses so that the interpreter can
translate into the other language. This could take place on guided
tours or in lectures.
Simultaneous interpreting
The interpreter translates while a speaker talks,
either by microphone, as at a conference, or by whispering to the listener
in a more familiar situation.
